I have Deity 80 mm rise on my new Yamaha Moro 07 size M. I am 5'10.5" I have the bars angled slightly forward which helps in climbing. I think they're great. Super comfortable.

I have a set of Deity bars with 50mm rise. I think I am going to be changing them though because I believe the backsweep (9deg) is causing my hands and wrists to hurt. I’m going to be trying a flatter bar with less backsweep to see if that helps.

After trying a fair few different bar types, including both the Sqlab 3OX 12° and 16°, I’ve finally settled on the 30X 12° in the 45mm rise.

I think the 16° are more comfortable on causal rides, but at bike parks when you're stood up chucking the bike around they are worse, the 12° are a good middle ground for both.

Are there any carbon bars with a rise greater than 40mm? I run Renthal's with 40 rise on a few of my bikes, but would like to try a higher rise in a carbon bar.

Following on from the what saddle and grips do you run (thanks for all the suggestions on that, went with wtb saddle and ergon grips in the end)
I'm interested in what bars every one is running. Do you like high rise, low, wide, narrow or anything in-between?

I'm currently running the carbon Newman bars that came with my cube 160. I like the feel of carbon but I'm finding them a touch narrow and low. I believe they are a 25mm rise but with an 8, 8 set back and pitch.

I ran some nukeproof bars on my old bike that were 800mm wide with a 38mm rise with a 5, 8 set back and pitch and they felt more comfortable but they are ally.

I like higher bars so was thinking of trying a 50mm rise but struggling to find anything. What are the negatives of going high rise?

So what kind of bike/riding do you do and what's your bar preference.
Spank fibrocore, foam filled to reduce arm pump and fatigue, and yes, they do work, for me anyway 👍
