What are your Meta Power SX 2021 upgrades?

I have the Signature on order, and for once I'm not interested in too many upgrades. The SX line of bikes are all nicely specced. Some upgrades I will do though are the following:

- Cushcore. Felt like a suspension upgrade on my Decoy and tracks better in the wet with the lower pressure.

- Ridewrap. Also had this installed on the Decoy. Protected the bike from a few dings, but looks ugly if the bike suffers more than a small ding. Rocks are bad. Replaced a few of the Ridewrap pieces the last year.

- Front mud guard.

- 2.6" tires. Probably Kenda Hellkat Pro AGC or eWild. Enjoyed both tires on my Decoy.

- K-edge Gravity Cap Garmin

- Cranks (maybe). Swapped to shorter Miranda cranks on the Decoy, but not sure if these will be needed on the Meta SX. With the smaller EP8 motor it looks like there will be more clearance.

What has everyone else modded/upgraded?

The Commencal guys can install the RideWrap. RideWrap the company are just up the road in Whistler.

The only thing that worries me on my '21 meta 29 tr is the rear hub. Generic brand that is known to blow up. Theyre ebikes probably have an appropriately burley emtb rear hub though. I put a shorter stem and 31.8 renthal aluminium bar but the shorter length stem was just a personal preference thing. The commencal stem looked well built and the bars had the fit i like. Looked like quality well thought out stuff. The rest is all slx and fox 38. If i keep it ill swap to a coil rear shock.
Cant wait to hear your decoy/sx comparison. Psyched for you

DT Swiss 350 hub on this Meta.

Shorter stem could be an option, as the reach is quite long. Ride Alpha Freeride 40 on this Meta. Also. Ride Alpha R20 31.8, 780mm, 20mm rise, Alloy 6061, electric wire internal routing handlebar. Also looks specific to Commencal. I'm familiar with the Renthal from the Decoy, and that's a nice handlebar.

Perfect. 350 is a good hub. Internal wire is nice as well. They look messy hanging on my decoy and i could see it getting snagged on something. The alpha bar has a similar sweep to the renrhal. That sweep seems to give me the most comfort.

I've done a few little things to mine so far but nothing major. The biggest thing I want to do still is install the drop in fork upgrade that people say is the shit.

But so far I've changed the bars, grips, pedals, added a saddlebag, tube strap, fidlock bottle, Granite in bike tools for the stem and bar ends and changed the cranks to Shimano ones as well as added crank boots... oh yeah and a seat. Just the small things to make the bike feel like my own.

Swapped out the Code R brake set to Magura MT7 Pro with MDRP 220 rotors front and rear this past week and just started to bed them in. Crank arms have been replaced with Shimano XT 165mm's. Other items such as Burgtec carbon handlebar and others are enroute! Zeb decals will be replaced to compliment Magura's neon yellow.
