Unanswered What 27.5 2.6-2.8” mixed condition, all weather front and rear tyres?

Looking to get new tyres that can be used all year round, in all conditions. Price no object, just want the best tyres money can buy. Has to be available in 27.5 2.6 - 2.8”. I don’t care about the weight.

There’s a lot of different tyres out there, I’m just looking for somewhere (as in here) by somebody to narrow down my search.

Excellent choice. Running this setup myself. 2.5 EXO+ Assegai MaxxGrip front, 2.6 EXO+ DHR2 MaxxTerra rear with Cush Core. Both in 29"

Assegai, DHF and DHR can all go on front and rear.

not sure they come in 2.6/2.8 that’s way bigger than anyone I know runs. 2.4/2.5 is the typical

Assegai is great but not in the mud, it's terrible.
Best all year round tyres I've had are the schwalbe magic Mary and big Betty combo.

Everyone is different, the terrain is localised, and weight and riding style are all factors.

I ended up buying the soft, super soft or whatever they call them.. still plenty of grip but if you don't mind replacing more frequently, go for the super soft
