Warranty question…

Probably a stupid question but when the ride 60 motor is replaced under warranty will the replacement motor also have a 2 year warranty? I have a Heckler SL on order and am having some doubts when reading the horror stories….

I'm on my 3rd Bosch motor ..the 1st was replaced slightly out of warranty ..the replacement went after a year and Bosch didn't want to know ( although my mate with the same fault & code with a slightly older motor got a significant discount from Bosch 60%..purchased at a different dealer ) ..my dealer / bike shop as a loyal customer ( having bought other bikes with them ) offered me a 10% discount on the replacement motor ...
The third motor because I have purchased it ..IS.. covered by a further two year warranty .
Because this is my main source of happiness & well-being ( after the family of course) ..it never entered my head that the motor wouldn't be replaced ..but it is a bit of a ball -ache that there hasn't been enough done so far to protect the motor from the elements .

OZ-E is right. Warranty is from date of purchase. There is occasionally some leeway when it comes to warranty issues especially if the motor fails catastrophically. Hope this helps!
