Warranty of Non Uk Purchased Parts

I'm looking to get a second battery, and the prices are far cheaper if brought from outside the UK (bike inn etc). I'm a little worried about the warranty though. Does anyone have any experience of warranty work from non UK purchased parts?

Madison UK are 0pretty good for warrantying Shimano parts bought elsewhere in Europe in my experience, can't speak for other Suppliers/Brands though.

Dont rely on Madison - you will have to go via a local delaer - Madison will not deal direct
