Anyone ?

My riding is generally a woodland mince and some tech. This bike soumds ideal for me as well. Anyone on here ride one whats your view.

£2,999 sound perfect for me.... the number involved for other brands are mental.

Seriously pondering one :)

It's not the best spec motor and components wise, but it has the advantage of the bombproof Halfords warranty and the low purchase price. For rolling round local blues and reds, it'll be fine, particularly if £3k would be the absolute upper limit of your spending.

Speaking as a Cube emtb owner, the bikes are better spec and capable of being ridden very hard. Second hand you can grab a 2021 140/160 for around 3k if you keep an eye out, often with upgraded brakes and other bits. But, you may need to fork out for a motor repair @ £500 six months down the line or similar failure with no warranty support. Could you take the hit and keep riding? Mine just cost me £1000 to troubleshoot!

If a situation like this would cause you serious problems, get the voodoo and enjoy 2 years trouble free riding. Otherwise, get a second hand cube.

I bought a zobop pedallie bike in 2018 on the bike to work scheme , used it a lot , loved it , stuck a bafang 750w motor on it and loved it more
last year I bought an E-ZOBOP in a large , mostly cos it appeared on my watch thing
I have to say that apart from the e7000 motor /500 w battery it is the best eeb I have I did upgrade the brakes to Clarke’s m4’s and the tyres are a bit rubbish in muddy stuff , but seem to work well in dryish dirt
I also changed the bars and stem for parts that suited me
I’ve also realised that 29” wheels will fit fine if you want to try them
might take the 29’s of my 140 cube and see what difference it makes

Interested in this as my first Ebike, with my cycle to work scheme it comes in less that 2k, would look and putting an angled headset to take the head angle to 65.5 and better brakes but if i could fit 29ers (im assuming your refering to the rear?) on then that would be awesome! especilly considering another battery is only about £400 would give about 1000Whs

keeps us posted,

did you ever swap the wheels over and will 29" fit on the rear with no modification?
