Still not sure about the looks, nice to see a "cheaper" model in the line up

It’s very “Orange” I guess and that is a marmite look but I actually like that a lot.

Having tried the Alpine 6 E last weekend and loved every minute of it, I’ve got a Surge Factory on order in Sterling Silver now.
I have an Orange segment which I love, would have a Surge if I didn't already have an esommet

I could understand keeping the larger pack if it was going to allow a bigger capacity. If it remains the same it seems a missed opportunity.
You’d think with in house manufacturing they would be able to respond quickly to new equipment releases.

Having said that , it probably weighs in at about 50 kg ?

It’s around the 23kg level (well the 6 E was). The 6 E felt just as nimble as the Levo Comp Carbon I demoed over the same trails. I cancelled my Levo order to order the Surge ?

I will definitely demo one of these up at Tweedlove festival if they have them.

I have a soft spot for the industrial aesthetic, reminds me of the DH bikes back when I got into MTB. It reminds me of the Nox Hybrid, a small German brand who use Brose and have a 630wh battery, I love this raw finish
