And I'm not incorrect; VR did 21 years in Moto GP/500s and won 7 WCs. That is indisputable. It is an incomplete record of his achievements though.

I did own an RD350 though and that could be a bit of a handful at times the 500's were another 30hp on top IIRC..

I really, really wanted one of the privateer Harris-framed Honda V-Twins when they were being sold off for a song before someone realised they'd become collectable. I wouldn't have survived long, but what a way to go!

Yes he never beat Agostinis 15 titles, but while he did not even surpass the 8 500cc titles Ago won, he did win on a much broader range of bikes. Also, while his career was longer he did not have the chance to race 2 classes at each event and the number of races for a title was close to double what Agoraced per year in any class.
