My first motor died at about 2500 miles so not as lucky as you. I make about 2000-3000 miles per year on emtb, 3000 miles is not neraly enough to tell if motor is reliable or not. I think majority of motors should whitstand at least 10000+ miles to deserve to be called 'reliable'.

me and my mate both on Levos....over 2 years old both approaching 2000miles...neither has had a single fault. Not really faults but both of us have upgraded the forks.

Semantics I know but never heard of a case where the motor has failed..........the transfer gears/sprag bearings/torque sensor/speed sensor or crankshaft yes or occasionally a PCB component............ but then non e bike BBs wear out as well.

My 2020 Levo Comp has over 9,000 miles on the clock with 6,400 so far this year.
The battery is 100% and the only problem was a split power cable 2,000 miles ago replaced under warranty.
This is a huge improvement on my 2016 Levo that ate motors, batteries and even snapped the axel in the bottom bracket.
Spec HQ finally took it back, sorted it out, and for a year it was most reliable until I exchanged it for this model.
Needless to say, I am delighted with Specialized and I just hope my lucky run continues.

I’ve done just under 4000 miles since owning the levo in august 2019, I’ve had 5 motors, the bike is outstanding, but any issue with sprag bearings, unable to load SW, belts all result in a new motor. Interesting though my two riding buddies, one with Shimano and Bosch have done similar milage to me (as we ride as a brat pack) and the other two haven’t glitched let alone failed.

My Bosch Gen 2 is bulletproof.
