My misses wasn’t impressed either especially as I’d just spent almost £400 on bike parts but when I said £24 on brake pads is cheaper than £200 on new rotors if the old pads wear down to nothing, went down better, the old reverse psychology wins again

Mine does only too well, after 36 years of marriage I just get that “yeah right” look but every so often she sees my way of thinking and I get the benefit of the doubt, it’s either that or I get a thick ear
