Levo SL Gen 1 Tyre Choice for Levo SL

Afternoon All!

Looking to change the standard useless tyres finally for something new, and just trying to find out the best ones to go for and the widest I can get away with on the SL?

Ride mixed terrain over in the UK, nothing too wet/sloshy!

Have been looking at Minion DHR/DHF combination, or some say just do DHR front and back. Alternatively the Shwalbe options?

Any advice and widths suggestions please!

Get on just fine with the rear Eliminator myself, the front though, not good on slippery roots. Put a Veetire flow snap enduro on the front and its a revelation, doesn't miss a beat on any terrain.

What you have as the front tyre? New Butcher T9? It's a good tyre and has really good grip and damping.

Its the Butcher Grid Trail which is the standard tyre on the Levo SL - I have this on front and back in 2.3

I have a dhf 2.5 up front, it's slightly narrower but taller than the stock rubber. More precise at the expense of less braking power. I wouldn't go any wider - this bike deserves a scalpel.

I've kept the stock rear, it's growing on me - all my other bikes run dhr rear but I'm liking the butcher.
