Two bikes, one with Kiox and Connect and the other with Smart System and Flow

So ... are they really such idiots at Bosch, that there is just no way to see my rides in one place in this situation? Connect even has the web dashboard. but they are very much pushing the Smart System. So, now I have two Bosch bikes with exactly the same motor, and two apps to connect the bikes. And the apps don't talk to each other.

That’s what I do. I rarely bother with the connect app. Maybe twice a year I connect to the app. However there may be some information that does not play well. ie; routes, heart rate, energy etc, between apps.

It makes no sense why Bosch can't have Bike1 and Bike2 in the same account, that would recognize which bike it's connected to. Maybe Bosch prefers a second bike not have a Bosch motor.

If you have 2 Bosch Smart bikes use 2 phones with Flow App. I rarely use the flow app. Set up the bike once and then leave well alone. I have my main bike connected to Flow on my phone just in case I ever need to run Flow to check something. Then my wife has Flow linked to my other bike on her phone......again if I ever needed to connect to check something on that bike.

My problem is different. I have both apps on the same phone, and I can connect to both bikes, no problem with that. The other with Connect and the other with Flow. I would just like to have all my monthly stats in one place, without having a third party app to combine the data. I mean, this is just a ridiculous thing, that Bosch can make their both apps connect to Strava, but not with each other ??

I just d/l the TQ app for the Fuel EXE, created another account and added that to the other MTB apps I seem to be collecting.

I guess I’m a minimalist when it comes to information that I want or need. After the initial setup, of any device, I rarely use the app again.

I had the paid version of Strava for a while. The free version now suits my needs. Gps, a map, some friends, and a method to find my body. When my stomach starts to grumble …I go home and eat.

Maybe some day I’ll want to know my speed, heart rate, energy, route, effort etc. Everyone is different though.🤷‍♂️

You might be a minimalist with the data you need, I'm minimalist with the apps I need. I'm an automation engineer, turning 50 soon and quite interested in the UI and UX stuff. My daily commute to work is 27 km (one way, so 54 total) , and it's always interesting to see how my cadence, my power usage, my average speed etc develop.

There is a lot of weird things in this business. I also have a Garmin Fenix 7 smartwatch. Garmin does not make e-bike compoments, and Bosch doesn't make smart watches. Both are major players in the business, they don't compete with each other, but you can't connect them to each other.

The funny thing is, that you can connect EVERYTHING to Strava. I'm starting to believe, that Strava is actually paying them to keep the situation like this.
