Twinlock with 3 settings doesn't stay fixed on Lumen 910

I have a new Lumen eRide 910 with a lock system for the suspension with 3 settings. Most of the time it is difficult to get it locked in the third position, which should lock it with the least amount of travel of the suspension.
According my bike repair shop it is a known issue and Scott is aware. I have to wait until Scott comes with the upgrade.
So, is this indeed a known problem, and is Scott indeed working on a solution?

I don't know if Scott is working on a solution, but the problem is known on all bikes with Twinlock. One question: why won't they replace it under warranty?

They will probably replace it under warranty as the bike is only 6 months old. It is just waiting for the upgrade from Scott. That's why I posted this to see if somebody knows more about that upgrade.

I completely removed the twinlock on my Lumen 910. Makes for a very clean cockpit

The twinloc on my wife‘s Lumen 900 has developed the same issue. The bike is from May 23 and has less than 1,000 km. Does not stay in the fully locked position and all fiddling with cable tension did not help.

It would be nice to have some background info before seeing the dealer.

No, I still haven't heard anything from my dealer or from Scott.

We went to see the LBS two weeks ago. The mechanic checked the twinloc and said it needs to be replaced.
LBS opened warranty claim with Scott and ordered new part which arrived last Thursday. Today we made an appointment to have it installed for next Wednesday.

So far so good!

Scott did not send a complete TwinLoc but only the main cam which the lbs should replace. It’s the black cam that pulls the shock cable and has the groove with two stops. When we picked up the bike we were told that the part didn’t need to be replaced as the original one was perfect.

Turns out, the internal main shaft had come loose and wasn’t seated correctly, so at the end of the groove the retaining pin had nothing to hold against. The lbs pressed the shaft back into its original position and closed everything back up. Now it works again as intended.

This seems to be a construction flaw and nothing can be done to prevent it from happening again.

Let’s see how long this will work.

Same problem here. The lever needs a good grip rubber and a stronger bolt. At 2Nm the lever will be forever with problems. And torx bolts are rubish. That's all.
