It's been off the road for 5 years (due to HGF) but due to not having a garage, and saving to buy a house (due to not having a garage) meant it just sat outside.

Bought a house with a garage a couple of years ago, but only ever had one of either time, money or effort to fix it.

This year I found myself with two of the three and started working on it.

I've replaced pretty much everything in the engine bay, but waiting for the brake calipers to come back from being referbished.

To be fair to it, it's been pretty reliable for the 15 years and 100k miles before the HGF. hopefully I'll have it back on the road for next summer

Working at the Le Mans 24hr race through the 80's and 90's had it's fringe benefits, with lots of models in the pit lane, and at "hospitality" events.

Hawaiian Tropic always made an effort to demonstrate the quality of their tanning products.
You will have to Google the pictures.

But the Japanese sponsors went the extra mile. "Andy, be at the C###o/T####a pit at 11:00"
Wow, a half a dozen Japanese models in skin tight blue/purple jump suits.
From a distance you wouldn't notice, but on closer inspection, they were a bit more than skin tight, and even had furry bits.
They were all stark naked with the skin suits, complete with zips and perfect sponsors logo's painted on, in intricate detail.
(I can't find those pictures on Google ? , but fun looking)

They were obviously being exploited, for the benefit of the sponsors and pleasure of shallow men. ?‍♂️

In true 2020 woke fashion, I apologies, no no it's nearly 2021, I "profoundly" apologies for not averting my gaze. ?

Try 'pitgirls bodypaint' or so I'm told

I didn't even notice they were different cars!
I prefer the top one.
I think the human eye first notice style points or something ...

In '93 '94 when the 6th Gen Celica and 4th Gen Supra came out. The first times I saw them (separately and probably months apart) I thought they looked the same .. even though they look nothing alike, but the design language must have been there and at the time, they looked different enough from anything else - to look the same ..

Just imagine how many times @BAMBAMODA has walked into a bar with one woman and walked out with a completely different one ! The design language is just so similar, poor guy doesn't stand a chance ! :ROFLMAO:(y)

My brother had a GT4 as a company car, he used to lend it to me occasionally, which was a very poor idea as I spent most of my time in it four wheel drifting around the country lanes in Essex.

Some of the purists are shitting their pants about these, but I think they are a stunning spec and quality build.
If you have enough pocket money to be able to afford to do competitive rallying, then these cars are a no brainer.
I want one ... ?
