So I have test rode a Haibike Allmtn 7.5 /10.0 and Focus Jam. Actually liked the specs on the Haibike 10.0 the best. Yamaha motor and more comfortable ride .The jam had shifting issues and motor didn’t seems strong. I also rode (just around a parking lot) a Cube 140 with Bosch motor. It was nice but not as strong as the Yamaha to me. Was sold on the Haibike but now the Cube stereo hybrid team 160 is coming to the USA next few weeks. Specs are a bit higher than the Haibike for the same price. Fox team 36 vs 34 etc. Opinions?

Quite different bikes - first off i would decide what kind of bike you want, The Cube 160 & Haibike 10.0 are Enduro bikes with more of a gravity focus, the Cube 140 & Jam trail bikes and the Haibike 7.5 kind of sits in the middle.

Narrow down the bike choices to the type of bike you want, then look at the total packages including the motor - the type of motor is not the be all and end all of an E-MTB, as it doesn't matter what Motor is has if the bike itself aint right for you and your riding.

Personally i would have the cube 160 out of that selection, i prefer the Shimano motor, but the Cube is a nice package. The new Trek Powerfly LT for 2019 might be worth looking at if you like the Cube.

Remember a lot of the motor systems are tuneable via Apps to allow you to tailor the power delivery, e.g on the Shimano the trail and boost modes have 3 settings within each mode that you can set them too, and the specialised app allows for a lot of tuning of the power delivery.

The Bosch system is the longest in the tooth and due an update soon, though still good but might be superseded next year, the Yamaha i am not too familiar with.
