Trying to choose between Levo and Meta Power, what do you think?

I am about to get my first eMTB and when I thought that the only decision left was choosing between a L or an XL a new and very interesting option just got available, the first shipment of Commencal Meta Power arrived today to the distribution center that happens to be less than half an hour away! The Meta Power 29 looks very interesting, the geometry is longer than the Levo and the components are quite nice for the price and I tend to prefer 29 inch wheels. What do you think of the Steps motor compared to Specialized´s Brose? Anybody has ridden both? All opinions are welcome as I am getting anxious to purchase the new toy!

You wont go wrong with either, if you like 29 inch wheels the commercial is a very well though out platform. Shimano steps system has a display, the specialised does not. The commercial is better value spec wise. The battery on the commercial is easier to remove and charge if you are not able to charge the bike where you keep it.

I agree both are great, however I’ve not ridden the Meta Power but I hear good things about it.

Levo is the popular one, you know what you’re getting; a solid highly capable EMTB and if you’ve got a Spesh dealer close in my experience their service is outstanding.

The Commencal will certainly not disappoint, build quality and the specification you get for the price is very hard to beat. Shimano's E8000 motor package really is a sweet bit of kit, highly recommended.

Ride both. I wasn’t really wow’d by ride feel/geo of the Levo and I’m am a bang on fit on a large. Rode a few others and Bang! The BMC blew my socks off by comparison. So I bought it. Shimano motor/battery have been amazing. So do you want a bike that’s popular that will have you waiting for a new motor a time or 3 a year? Or a better spec’d for your money bike with a motor battery with better track record and a ride that you may like even better than the Somewhat mediocre (imo) ride feel of the Levo?

yeah spesh customer service/warrantee is great, but given the Levo track record, it HAS to be.?‍♂️
