So my Santa Cruz Heckler came with SRAM DB8 brakes. I don't mind them, they are good brakes, but I wanted a bit more power near the end of the lever stroke. I like doing a bit unusual things with my bike if I can, so I bought a set of TRP DHO Evo levers and swapped then for the DB8 levers.

BAM! First test ride was good. Still have modulation, but near the bottom of the lever stroke, more power! Boo ya! A set of TRAM DB Evo brakes are born!

Stay powerful out there.

Hi Jamie,
I have the SC Bullit and thinking of doing the same thing.
Were they play and play or did you have to run new brake lines?
How are they still performing?
