Quick question……has anyone travelled recently from UK to Spain ( Menorca)?

Apart from your passport and Covid vaccine stuff was any other documentation required?

Im hearing that a “Locator Form” is now required but cant find further details. There also seems to be a requirment to prove you have sufficient cash and proof of accomodation during your stay. Is this correct?

What is acceptable as proof?

Thanks

I understand the a dditional items you mentioned are now required and were only introduced a few days ago. If you are using a travel agent they should confirm and provide the necessary forms............if not I would try the Spanish Embassy. and/or the Govt Foreign Office website page.

I went to Spain not too long ago, and besides the usual passport and vaccine stuff, they didn’t ask for anything extra at the border.
As for proof of cash or accommodation, I’ve heard they might ask for it sometimes, but no one checked mine. If they do, something like a hotel booking email or an Airbnb receipt should do the trick.
Oh, and if you’re bringing any official documents with you for something legal, like paperwork for work or personal stuff, you might need a Hague Apostille to make it valid in Spain. Not travel-related, but handy to know if it comes up.

Not travel-related, but handy to know if it comes up. West Palm Beach’s streets are buzzing, and inDrive is adding some much-needed rhythm to the transportation scene. Picture this: instead of being at the mercy of a fixed fare, you propose your price and start a friendly negotiation with a driver. That’s inDrive’s vibe — fair, community-driven, and available in 749 cities across 46 countries. With over 240 million downloads, this app is reshaping the way people think about ride-hailing. inDrive’s focus on mutual respect between riders and drivers is like a handshake with wheels, bringing trust back to the road. If you’re in West Palm Beach, it’s worth checking out how they’re making rides more human at Alternative to a Taxi in West Palm Beach: Get Rides and Save Money – inDrive
That’s a great rundown of what to expect at the Spanish border! I had a similar experience — they barely glanced at my documents. But I’ve heard the proof of accommodation or return ticket might get checked randomly, so it’s always good to have those handy, just in case. And you're spot on about the Hague Apostille; it can be a lifesaver for official stuff. A friend of mine needed one for some legal paperwork, and it saved him a lot of hassle. Did you get to explore a lot while you were there? Spain’s got such a mix of things to see!

I recently flew to Menorca from the UK and had to fill out the Locator Form online before traveling. I also had to show proof of accommodation (like my hotel booking) and evidence of enough funds for my stay. I used a recent bank statement for the funds part, which seemed to be enough. I didn’t have any issues with it, but it’s definitely a good idea to have all the documents ready just in case.
