Hi,just been in the Giant store in Bristol.
Tried an XL and it fitted fine the L felt a little too small.
Does this sound right given I’m 6ft tall with a 33 inch inside leg?
Thanks in advance

Sizing is a very personal thing, which is best decided by trying out the bikes - which you’ve already done.

It’s hard to comment because your question actually lacks any conundrum. It seems your answer is already contained in your question without you realising it.

Long wheelbase will suit a fast flowing bike park better, whereas a shorter wheelbase will be more agile and will better suit tight technical trails. Either way you can always fine tune your fitment by changing the length of the stems, and the height of riser bars.

Perhaps what you’re after is reassurance. It’s an expensive item and none of us want buyers remorse. But only you can make this call. ??

When I got my Trance last year I tried a small, which the Giant size chart said was the right size for me, but it felt far too short and cramped, so I bought a medium, which felt much better. The Giant sizeing information seems to push people towards a smaller size than they need.
If it feels right then it is right!

I'm 6ft 6 and ride XL fine the weight of the bike makes it stable tbh I'd like a bit more reach but very few of us are ews riders so never ride at the 10/10 speed u need balls and ability for that lol

6’1 ft, ride a large. It fits me ok, if anything I would say a tiny bit small. My wife often rides it and she is 5’10 and it fits her fine. In fact, my 5’6 13 year old son can fit on it with the saddle right down and keeps trying to borrow it. But it’s definitely too big for him!
