Trance 2020 brake swap issues

Hello everyone,
I would like to share my concerns about a brake swap procedure I'm stuck in. I decided to swap my tektro's with a Shimano Zee set mostly because finding a way to deal with covid-19 and get busy somehow.
For the front I've got no problem it's already installed. For the rear, there's no easy way to pull out the old oil tube from the frame. It's like fixed between the frame and the engine, close where the battery connector is. It looks like I need to bring down the whole engine to swap a cable, because the same can be said also for other cables inside the frame.
Anyone else did a brake swap?

I personally have not done this but I have seen where others have, and yes you will need to drop the motor. IIRC you dont need to completely remove the motor, just swing it out of the way.

Do you know of also the crankset must be removed? I was able to get 4 bolts out, two on the left and two on the right that are going into the frame (torx t30) but it does not move at all.

I would say no. Cranks and motor are one unit so should drop out together.

So at some point I've unmounted the battery connector as in the video, and pulling the cable was enough to detach it from where it was attached, it seemed like glued to the engine!
Now the cable need to pass upstairs where is the battery key lock, attached a picture

hi all
so i'm in troubles again and it's about the lenght of the cable for the rear brake.
i've got a SM-BH90-SBS of 1700mm lenght and it goes out from the frame on the left, or better, it should come out from the left hole in the frame together with other cables (ridecontrol and dropper). BUT it is too short, and it can't make it to the lever on the right part of handlebar. the idea is to let it go out from the frame hole on the right, where is only one cable and it's the gearshift cable. do you believe it could work or there could be issues ?
otherwise i need to swap the full cable with a 2000mm new one, please don't say that

Silly question but will the old brake line not work with the new brakes? Different diameter?

i don't know but in any case i wouldn't like to mix tektro and shimano components, moreover to detach the old line from the framei pulled it firmly, i saw that it was strongly compressed in that point between frame and engine, so better to avoid re-using it. anyhow, i did use the hole on the right and no issues, apparently, another option would be to swap right with left but no need for now. have to wait the permission to go outside with a bike to test it, let's hope this covid-19 stuff finishes soon.
