Total Newbie

Hey everyone, i'm completely new to all mtb never mind emtb. Been wanting to get into emtb for a little while now and hoping i'm not to old at 47 to start now. I live in the Scottish Borders so loads of good spots to get out on a bike and i have a mate who has one already
Been hoping to get a Stylus but never seam to be able to find it in stock.
Anyway any advice or tips most welcome

Hey McF, take it easy and you will ramp-up fast... I am in my 50’s and I am delighted with the added advantage of eMTB.
I normally keep up with the youngsters on a straight road, but I take strain uphill... no more

I’m not surprised the stylus is hard to get hold of. Amazing value for money. They probably can’t produce them fast enough.

Age is no barrier .
I ride with my local MTB club . Regularly ride with guys in their 70s who can still show this 50 something a thing or two ! Yesterday with a 72 year old and a 74 year old .
I hope I am as fit and able in 20 years time .

I agree completely... I have the same objective.
Furthermore eMTB is a levelling tool for 2# riders to enjoy the expedition with 7# riders.

Thats good to hear that its not too late to start. Hopefully if i manage to get a stylus I’ll be able to get into it
Is there anything else under £3k thats close to the stylus ?

You will probably find you are one of the younger members of the forum, so no need to worry about it for at least another 40 years.

Hi and welcome. Total newbie myself to mtb and emtb as of the beginning of July. You'll love it, brings out the cheeky hooligan in you that you thought was long gone ever since you left your teens! I have even managed to get the same cuts and grazes as we used to get in those days - evidence of a fun day out!
