Last week i got an un-repairable puncture on my Minion DHR II, put a tyre boot on but still not sealing properly. Not had it long just unlucky I guess. Never had a problem with the stock Butcher Grid, so I've just ordered a Butcher 2.6 BLCK DMND for £29 from the Specialized store.

I ordered some Eddy’s the day my bike arrived, the Minions are weak! This one lasted 100 miles, previous bike ate 2 in the first 500 miles. They were 3.0 and 2.8’s, rips, punctures, snakebites, torn nobbles. Just not up to the ebike weight and lower pressures. Good grip though. How are the 2.6’s holding up? Anyone got a view?

Eddy’s are cheaper and work just as well, if not better.

Happy so far with the BLK DMND 2.6. They are foldable and a lot thicker than the Minions but still easy to fit. Gives me a lot more confidence on the trails. I will get one for the front as well
