Thule 931 towbar twin bike rack anyone use it for carbon Levo?

Hi guys I have got a Thule 931 twin bike rack which fits on the tow bar, Linda my wife might get a Levo Expert but i think she read in the brochure it isn't to be used on carbon bikes so I just wondered does anyone use it with carbon and is there a way round the problem as I know that claw has to be tightened until it clicks, so will it damage the frame at all?

Thule offers special carbon frame protector to ovefcome this issue. Just google and you will find it between all the accessories. Also the XXL wheelstraps are very handy as mine were to short.
