Had a day out on this one today. 150mm front and 140mm rear, Shimano E8000 based EMTB. Plenty more riding to do but heres some pics.

Anyway back on topic - interesting bike, i like what they have done with the battery placement in terms of keeping weight low down, but also using stock external E8000 Battery which is easy to remove, and getting a bottle cage into the mix too - kind of like how Pivot and Intense have done but not fully enclosed (though i believe Thok where the first to mount the battery under the downtube with a steps system). Has good feedback from owners on the forum too.

When I posted a picture of my Thok recently on insta someone asked how much it was and then said “surely about £9k”?. In fairness it was quite a distant picture of the bike so perhaps the silhouette being similar to the pivot/intense hints at it being a premium priced bike but it’s really not the case! (Euro to £ conversion works out around £3,600)

I get the impression from looking at the specs that the thok bikes are a bit short on the reach.Having just ordered one of the new Ducati TK01rr s I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea on sizing ,I am 5’9” and currently ride a good old 26” soft tail cica 2006,so It is going to be a baptism of fire going from 25lbs of softail with 26” wheels and a 80mm stem to a mullet ebike weighing twice that.Just curious to know if anyone has an opinion.Ducati have said they will have a large and medium demonstrator in january ,anyway.
