I liked the sand dune stuff. I don't have any dunes locally to justify a fat bikes. Once a year I do a pilgrimage to the dunes dust off the kite buggy and go kite bugging in the dunes for 4-5 days.

Awesome times.

Yes, they allow them on the beach here, but not all year round.
I'd love a go at that

Yeah, Kite buggying is a fringe offshoot in a fringe sport.

Riding the flat is ok. But the real fun in the kite buggy is in the dunes!

Used to love kite buggying and mountain boarding with the kite. Even tried a bit of racing here in the UK but mostly headed over to Calais in france to ride the huge beaches over there. PKD race kites and a Viper Parakart buggy topped out at 61mph once...felt twice as fast so low to the ground. Riding the dunes looks fun though! Moved into kitesurfing around 2007 instead as its just more accessible but been tempted a few times to re-invest and get another buggy..

Same here. My local is pretty average for kite buggy and fantastic for kitesurfing. So I Kitesurf locally and go on the pilgramage to the sand dunes to kite buggy.

Admitiddly, currently I'm mountain biking and e biking a lot more that kitesurfing currently.
