Most of the times he was just going downhill without pedaling. There was not much EMTB-specific stuff as the wheels etc. are the same for all bikes if changed. Maybe that was good video if one was thinking if it's possible go insane speed with heavy battery (or atleast shoot a video where it looks fast). I can't go that fast..

Thats the point, nothing to do with having a motor, everything to do with how he is managing to ride the barge that is the Cube Stereo, which is a big old lump and not easy to throw around like that.

I suspect the same has been said about @Gary in bars all over the world over the years .. and they weren't talking about bikes.

Yeah. Massively agree.
I'm not usually into 50:01 style jib fest videos as a lot of the stuff they're doing (Loosedog in particular) is just BMX street moves transfered over to big wheels and pulled in the woods but you still have to apptreciate getting an FS 29er trail bike to jib about like that isn't easy. Add in 15lb of battery and motor and it's another level of awkward. A rider like Phil makes what he does look so effortless. Take the front tyre tree tap to manny. so smoothly pulled. I watched it 3 times.
I really hope he picks up a deal deserving of his talent for 2021
