I just love reading stuff like this gem .......
Bought an SC Bullit on May 15th and had the same motor failure as you on the 21st with only 3 hours on it.

That thread was started by a new Shimano owner complaining his engine was in need of replacement
after only 3 weeks.
Can you beat that great EP8 ?
Do not buy a boomerang.
Avoid those that need going back to the shop.

Ahh, if we could only identify the faulty ones! Of any make Sorry to hear that ep8 is also lacking reliability, like the rest of them; some more, some less.
