The beauty of Rob's reviews is he gives an honest and open review of how he feels about each bike as it is, on it's own merits.

Once you start trying to give back to back comparisons from one person you're introducing what just feels right for Rob, not the information we need to know what would be right for each of us to make that decision for ourselves.

I don't think Rob gets to choose which bikes he tests but I'd like to see more lower spec models tested, other than that I have no complaints at all.

Cheap bike vs super bike. Like a an entry level and top of the line e160 and see if the extra money makes a difference.

Direct comparison between the Nox, SL and eZesty.

Reviews of less popular brand bikes.

How about a video where Rob travels the world looking for an identical version of himself, maybe a South American. They can then have a race off between the Kenevo and Brand-X (a South American Kenevo?) from 2nd Rob. The cream on the cake would be if the clones' name was Roberto; but to be honest, thats stretching it a little ?

I think you'd probably go with the normal approach. One hand round a fork and one hand round the seat tube and lift. Make sure you bend your knees though - it's bad enough lifting an EMTB on it's own, never mind with a sweaty lady on it at the same time.

There is that for clockwork bikes, which should really be the same, or very similar. Entry level vs mid range and mid range vs super bike. After all, the e systems are a fixed quantity only differing between brands, so budget, mid range etc is really the bike without the e system. I really see that comparison as subjective or dependent on our values though - for example, I would never buy a high end bike.

Giving Rob feedback and thoughts on ideas for videos is a great idea but asking for specific bike tests not so much.
On the feedback front I really think Rob has his Youtube content balance really sorted between News, riding interesting locations, riding tips, reviews/comparisons, industry insight, tech, noob/buyer info, Live shows and opinion. Rob's greatest qualities to me are his enthusiasm, friendliness, likability and honesty. and it's very refreshing.
in contrast EMBN with their huge production team and budget means their content is really well produced and their presenters already coming from mtb media savy roles (pro riders/journos) makes the channel very watchable but content wise they're often scraping the bottom of the barrel, This often results in repetitive, cringy or just plain shit information to continually churn out that content week after week and the nature of their business model and background deals means the information they put across generally has bias.
On the other end of the scale mtb trail documentor youtubers like McTrailrider. eg. ordinary riders who just travel to differnet trails to document them no matter how well produced actually bore me. hours and hours of POV footage is just dull. Better riders a little less so but it still becomes incredibly repetitive unless you have more to show/talk about than the trails and Youtube channels that specialise in bike/kit reviews or indepth tech discussion can be a really handy resource but not something I'd have thought many folk would want to watch episode after episode of long term.
So yeah. Watching Rob's channel build from (almost) the beginning has been really enjoyable.

Ps. Rob. Despite my personal view on the legitimacy/fairness of Emtb racing. the videos I had really been most looking forward to watching this year from you guys was your documentation/insight into the E-EWS from a normal riders perspective. The world's still in a mess but hopefully you'll get there next season.

Insurance! It’s been highlighted all to often bike theft is on the up and other than taking your pride and joy to bed with you, how best to protect yourself and your bike. Insurance Companies have all to often have these bizarre restrictions and escape clauses to avoid paying out ( i.e. don’t leave your bike unattended for more than 6 hours!! ) anyway it’s a mine field. 1. Don't be tempted to buy a massively long Ebike (as is the fashion in normal mtb just now). - they're harder to maneouver in every way
2. Be a stronger rider. - you have an extra 12-15lb to move around
3. pre-load harder - for the same reason as above
4. Alter your timing very slightly. it takes time to tune into the subtle timing differences required to ride any new bike well especially a far far heavier one
5. ride MOAR

Or

1. Buy a sub 35lb Emtb and run light fast rolling tyres.

From all the riding footage I've seen of Rob and his friends I don't think any of them do particualarly maneouver their ebikes like you "can" lighter normal bikes. There's nothing wrong with that though.

Honestly, I can't remember the list time I saw an interesting e-bike video from anyone. EMBTB is especially lame, these days with all their recycled and contrived "new" videos. Guess that GCN in general.

Yes. I tend to search for videos on the skill I'm trying to improve on now. Not emtb specific videos; mtb videos.
