I just noticed a crack on my powerflyLT frame. Mine is on the drive side below the main pivot. I'd be curious to hear about yours. This is my second frame in 6mo. First one had play in lower shock mount out of the box. Frame was out of spec. View attachment 23858

Trek approved my warranty claim for the crack frame on my Powerfly in less than 24 hours and they offered me a 2018MY frame or a discount on a Rail. After much deliberation I'm now the very happy owner of this beauty;

Many thanks to Two Wheels of Stourbridge for processing the warranty claim and then getting the Rail prepped and Invisiframed in their busiest week of the year. (y)

Aaaand, your post has returned and I can see some of the pics. Weird indeed.

My frame developed cracks in the lower shock mount.

Really?
Weighed? with pedals ready to ride?
That surprises me. I rode a rail last week and it felt heavyAF to me. It was an XL though and I was just jibbing about in street on it.

I have a Powerfly 9.7. Similar to the Rail. I also have a Kenevo. I feel the Kenevo feels way lighter. The Trek feels heavy as heck even though it’s a carbon frame and the Kenevo is an alloy frame.
