Levo Gen 3 The front chain ring came loose after changing cranks?

I changed my cranks last week and have about 25km on them. I love them (155mm hope cranks). Installed to torque with a torque wrench and just taking them off were still tight.

Today, I noticed a weird, almost bell sound. I couldn't figure it out, but on the last trail, something didn't feel right, and I knew something was broken. When I got home, I realized the bolt on my chain ring was loose. It's a good thing I stopped when I did because that could have been bad if the chain ring had come even loose or jammed my cranks.

1. Has Anyone ever seen this come loose after removing cranks?
2. How do I tighten it? What kind of wrench fits? Picture below

Edit: It looks like I need a lockring tool -- It looks like this one might work?? https://fortnine.ca/en/park-tool-8-notch-bottom-bracket-and-lockring-tool-bbt-18

3. Did I do something when installing the cranks to mess this up? Maybe just the rotation of the factory cranks coming off might have loosed it.

that tool should do it....nb its a counter clockwise thread..................clockwise to undo. It coming loose may just be coincidence. Personally I would fit a new lockring ( c £10).

FYI -- mine was not counterclockwise to put the nut back on I tightened it clockwise.
Likely a reason for that on a Brose motor, but the threads on a Bosch gen4 are counter-clockwise. The spider nut is tightened, to the torque specs, on a reverse thread. (If that makes sense).

Someone on this forum recently detailed why by using a sketch …kinda made sense. Regardless, a new lock ring nut with a small amount of blue locktite may help. Since the lock ring is generally aluminum, it is prone to distortion and thus possible loosening.

Good advice. I’m getting a spare locking.

Ive never had that come loose in the past 4 years of riding my levo. I did have those shitty praxis cranks loosen up, but once i installed hope never again. (I do check perodically for safety though)
