Picked up my FOURTH emtb since May 2019 last night.... first was an 18 base Levo, last September I sold that and upgraded to a 2020 Comp.... In April this year I sold the Comp and purchased a 20 Sworks when Specialized had their very brief blowout sale. Last night, after riding my buddies on Saturday, I picked up a 20 Levo SL Carbon Expert.... Add to the list a Santa Cruz 5010 last month... I think I'm done for a while! Looking foward to having the SL for tighter less hilly terrain. It's exactly right for one of our major riding areas, just like the Levo is perfect for the other.

The problem with owning more than one bike, you can only ride one at a time.

Btw, the SL expert looks Lovely... I want one. I’m just considering what toys I have which I could sell, and have been playing with the 0% finance slider on the Spech site?

True, but I've been riding each two days a week on average, sometimes just one for the Santa Cruz, just because my closest riding area is pretty much limited to the Sworks.

Nah! The correct number of bikes = S - 1

Where S is the number of bikes at which the significant other will storm off never to be seen again (except in the courts, the cost of which will ensure the reduction of bikes to zero).
Bikes are part of life's necessities and therefore unseizable

Good problems to have....maybe....

Been riding Santa Cruz bikes up until Specialized announced the 2020 Enduro

August 2019 - Enduro s2 Frame
IMG_3902.jpeg

A week later sold to my buddy before I built it up with my parts. Reason: I sat on an S3 at the Spec booth in CA Enduro Series Northstar and liked the fit. The s3 search begins....

Sept 2019 - My LBS ordered the last S3 available at the time. Frames were sold out. Had to buy complete then went straight to NS to test ride my new Enduro

My SC bikes went up for sale shortly after...

Started changing parts to ready for 2020 park season. Whistler trip booked!

Current set up. The only change is the fork is now a Fox 38 (not pictured)

Had a FF levo tank, went back to a mega tower, that’s lasted a few month, sold it to my mate and have the SL. I only need 1 bike, this bike does it all, I’ll do uplift days with mates np, epic rides in the lakes, sending down the golfie, so far I don’t miss any previous bikes.

If you had to pick one, which one?

If you had to pick one, which one?

this is one of the hardest questions to answer. i mean, is there a 1 bike quiver?

well i kind of picked one in each category lol
acoustic, heavyweight class ebike and lightweight class ebike

hard to say because i "need" them all

if i had to start all over again I would get a Levo S-works frame and build with parts to my liking. Then i would have to change out the frame in a year assuming 2022 Levos will have a total revamp

but that doesn't solve what i would need for Bike Park..... so if rumors are true about a Kenevo SL or an E-bike Enduro SL then i would have to get another bike

despite all that, i am really enjoying the SL right now. It's fun, rides like a bike downhill, and just has enough e-power to have so much funon climbs

so i believe in having 1 bike in multiple riding categories haha!

it's a never ending cycle......

*every post should have some sort of bike pic

Some people think that owning a big house is awesome too - I think it's a burden. Alright if you can afford a housekeeper. My time and money is limited. I spend enough time and money keeping one bike maintained and riding it - maybe some of you pay to keep your bikes maintained by someone else? I do have a couple of non e bikes for when the e bike has problems, which they do.

Have you looked at the new wreckoning?
My friend built one up. It’s badass. But I myself have not been looking into bikes other than full DH rigs. Strictly E going forward or DH bike for park

my bro just picked up a frame to build up for park. Since Whistler trip is rebooked to 2021 we’ll go to sedona and moab where ebikes are not allowed

I do almost all repairs and maintenance myself.... Three bikes, don't require much more work than one, as the cumulative miles is (in theory) the same.
