Testing out the 12v BMW levo charger

Just got my 12v BMW levo charger, was a bit sceptical at first. So I went out for a drive and the levos battery went from 20% to 40% in an hour. Which I thought is pretty good. Obvs not as quick as mains power, but still handy to top up as you drive about. ?

Got mine off Ebay. Somebody had 6 for sale, sold pretty quickly. Try your local BMW dealership. People on here have been getting one through them, but quite hard to get your hands on one.

So I received my 12v car charger in the mail a few days ago and I tested it out today. After a 90 minute drive, the battery gained 28%.

I plugged it in with the engine off to take this picture and forgot to unplug it afterwards. After an hour charging with the engine off, my SUV still easily started. (Touareg with 2 batteries).

Handy bit of kit isn't it! I left mine in my vw caddy for a while with the engine off. She started up no probs

An old post but I would love to have one of these. I see them on ebay from places like the UK or GE but they say does not post to the United States.

Anyone have one they are will to send to the US?

I know thread is few months old but maybe someone find it helpful.
I bought my charger from a BMW dealer. Don't forget to provide them a part number and they should bring it to you.
