I was always rubbish at, but I flew remote controlled helicopters for a few years a good few years ago.
In search of better energy density, many with deep pockets were using flight packs comprising Lithium-Polymer batteries. Special care was required. Others, including me, were assembling their own battery packs using 26650 Li-ion 3.7V cells. Soldering cell connectors and balance taps wasn't all that difficult.
Does anyone know exactly what is inside a TEC pack i.e. cell type, cell count and balancing hardware?
Just daydreaming here. But wondering if, outside of warranty, disassembling a TEC pack and reassembling into a nicer form factor could be an option.
