I have a 2021 Stance E1 and my neighbor as the 2021 E2. I would tell you to go to the E1 over the E2. You get 12 speeds instead of 10 speeds. You get a dropper post (though the newer E2's may have a dropper post, I have not looked). And you get a bigger battery. By the way, neither of us has had any major mechanical issues with either bike and we ride several days a week 50+ miles a week.

I picked up the orange one new only because I picked it up for $2600 out the door fully free shipping no tax and fully assembled and that included pedals as well. Only one draw back is a 1 year warranty instead of giants lifetime warranty.

Today I pickup up the orange 2022 stance e+2. The bike shop gave me a little more discount so I got it for $3380, $220 cheaper than the 2023 model. The bike dealer did inform me that I Have 30 days to return for full refund and that they didn’t have a status yet on why the gray 2023 model hadn’t arrived yet.
