Surrey hills
Asked the misses would it be a nice idea to go out for a cycle and get some fish and chips. She thought it was a great idea but suddenly the look of horror filled her face when she realised we were going to cycle 83 miles there and back to get them ?

So we left the Surrey Hills (near Box Hill) this morning at 7.30 and returned home nearly 12 hours later. We headed for Horsham, then took the Downslink all the way to Shoreham on Sea.

There were a few road blocks so we had to navigate around them. We used only Eco and Tour mode.

Very surprised how long the first battery lasted. Bosch 500wh survived 58 miles before I changed it.

Longest ride we have ever done in a day. You would not believe how many scotch eggs I ate on the way ?

Fair play to you.I live in Dorking and done that a few times but only from Partridge Green where we camp so we can have a few beers at Dark Star at the end.Theres a great little cafe at the helicopter end of the airport to take on a few treats and while away an hour before the return trip.
