My and my mate order the 2019 levo comp and comp carbon in November just had an update today, delivery end of April and May for each, that's such a long wait and it has gone back a month from our original order, anybody else in the same boat or better?

Try another dealer. My understanding is that it all depends on when the dealer actually placed an order with Specialized.

Many dealers have ordered way in advance, others don't actually order until you place the order with them. So you may find that another dealer has them available much quicker than that.

Great work Rob,[forum and youtube]

I like the shop we have or are buying from its only 10 mins away so going to stick with them, deposit is down it just feels like a long time, maybe they have slowed down on production to come up with a permanent fix for the 2019 levo's

It's good training for you as after getting your bikes they will work for a month and then won't switch on, so you will be waiting again.

I picked up my Levo 2 weeks ago (Jan 11), ordered it Nov 23. My LBS said the first shipment to the US was airfreight and the shipments after that have been via boat, hence my ~8 week wait. I suspect production just cannot keep up with demand. Mine was delivered with the foam insert but not the 4-bolt shroud.

So far I'm very happy with the bike. I'm sure you will be too. I have encountered a few e-bike doubters and then I give them my pitch about why I bought it. Then give 'em a test ride and just watch the HUGE smile erupt from their face!

Why do you say that are they not reliable.
My bike is unreliable because it does not like to be washed ! I only wash it when it has really become full of crud , with a hose and reduced water pressure and a bucket of soapy water with a sponge . Without using a hairdryer to dry out the battery connecting plug , there is not way that the bike turns on . Just blinking lights from the battery . Yes , it's true that I could bring the bike back to the dealer every time this happens , but that would result in a week without riding each time !! I can already hear their response ...don't use so much water ...
What a shame , and shame on you Specialized .

Wow that is appalling from them especially as it is an expensive bike! My wife really wants one but I have read a fair bit of negativity on this bike and last night she read a few articles with users saying the front end washes out on them!!!!

That sounds like operator error. Lol

Does it :) it's funny that she has read a few accounts of that happen but like I said to her Specialised are known for their bikes handling well so I hope they do handle well as she isn't a confident rider and having a bike that is jittery wouldn't be good for her :)

I am agog that the battery plug on the levo is at the bottom of the downtube + the fact that you cant get the battery out unless the bike is flipped or in a stand. My Moterra battery connection is at the headset end and has never got wet or dirty, but the bat strap "handle" does get plastered. I am beginning to think that the best design is the battery on top of the downtube, easy to change and stays clean!

So if you havent got yours yet I would say get something like this:

Saves you 2.5K and you can get a spare used 500 Watt battery for about £350!
