My bike currently has a SRAM XG-1275 cassette 10-52..
They seem to be out of stock everywhere is an SRAM XG-1275 10-50 a straight swop with a slightly higher top gear?
Is it the same XD driver?
Thanks

Yes, all the XG prefixed cassettes are XD driver compatible I think. It's the PG prefix you want to avoid - that's for a Shimano freehub.

Having similar problems. My SRAM pg1230 cassette is soon in need of replacement but everywhere seems to be out of stock. I have no understanding of what I need so can anyone point me to an affordable alternative that will do the job? Could I just use a SRAM Pg 11 speed and not use the 12 th gear ? Or do Shimano or sun race have a compatible 12 speed ???confused!

The Sram PG1210 is interchangeable with the 1230, it's just heavier due to it's construction but it's also in short supply.
The Sunrace CSMZ90 is compatible but has more aluminium cogs and looks to be more expensive but also looks like it's out of stock.
If it's only starting to wear can you pre-order one?

I know my mate Fin at Full Factory Suspension has a GX cassette in stock as he mentioned it the other day. Maybe give him a shout?

GX 12spd cassette will be XD driver and thus not compatible. He needs an HG (also known as Shimano - before Microspline!)

I ordered one of the Sunrace cassettes from Ebay from the Irish seller - but there's none of those left either. Bikediscount were predicting to have restocked this week so you could check. Otherwise, there's a bloke selling new PG1230's on ebay auction. At this rate they'll be going for over £150 soon :(

Sunrace part numbers you can use are CSMZ90, CSMZ901, CSMZ902, CSMZ903 and CSMZ800. Think the last one is cheapest and all steel cogs. Good Luck!

No. PG1210 and PG1230 are both compatible with Shimano HG freehub body.

Thanks for that. Interestingly the description of the PG1230 says it’s the only cassette suitable for high wear on eBikes.

Yeah, I guess that was before Sram released 'E-MTB Components compatibility map' in 2020. I guess this was a consequence of Shimano announcing all their 12sp drivetrains are fully compatible with emtb's ...

Have any of you in the UK used that Mantel before? Never heard of them before personally but the prices look good ?
Yep, ordered from them a couple of times.
I ordered the cassette late this afternoon and it's already showing as shipped with a UPS tracking number.

Nope. Most EU retailers are putting a £135 limit on purchases though, as thats the amount set by the EU. Anything over that will incur charges, and thats even if the retailers will sell to you. Many won't because its too much agg for them.
