After looking at SRAM web page it looks like I can use my current rear cassette which is a PG 1130 11-42 T, I am riding a 2020 levo. Can anyone confirm if this is possible.

Wireless cassettes? whatever next :ROFLMAO:

SRAM GX EAGLE ASX is a 12 speed wireless groupset

The PG1130 11-42 is an HG (shimano freehub) patern 11 speed cassette.
so you need an 11 speed drivetrain (SRAM or Shimano) and an HG patern freehub on your rear wheel to run that cassette.
To run a GX Eagle cassette (11 or 12 speed) your wheel needs to have an XD freehub driver

to quickly check if your rear wheel is HG or XD simply look at the end of the cassette for the presence of a lockring
Similar to this:

XD cassettes have the same spline patern for the cassette tool but integrated in the cassette design so has no lockring:

No, you cannot run 12spd derailleur with 11spd cassette. What makes you think it can work by looking at SRAM web page?

I printed out the compatibility sheet for axs and followed it across , I was probably looking at it wrong (not the easiest chart to follow) that's why I ask the question. I was hoping to get lucky as I know all other axs upgrade kits will not work unless I change cassette. Thanks for replying.
