Squeak from Stance

My stance 2019 has developed a squeak. Any suggestions wher it’s coming from.
It only squeaks when I am pedalling, if I take the chain off and turn the pedals there is no squeak. Last ride did it was squeaking until I went through some water then no squeak. Don’t know if this is an easy fix or is it a warranty issue with the motor. Any ideas?

If it goes away with some water it is not motor related. Some dust and lack of grease are the most common culprits. You need to check cranks, chainring, pedals, cables and everything close to the noise area. If you are not an expert finding noises a good lbs will take care of it easily.

Could also be the quick release if this model has one, you can put a bit of oil on the part that pivots.

look youtube, it might be seat tube, saddle, pedal the list is long

Thanks for the replies, have checked all the usual bits, seat, pedals etc. Since it’s quiet while freewheeling I think it has to be something to do with the drivetrain, don’t have tools or know how to take cranks off so it might be a trip to lbs.
