Hi all,

After years of mountainbiking on a normal bike, i want to go in the direction of an EMTB, i havent ridden in 4yrs and now have a cube reaction pro hybrid testbike.
i do like it alot, after knee issues from long runs on a normal bike, this is a breeze.
however, i feel that i REALLY need to adjust to some issues

1st is the weight, the bike seems less nimble due to it, is this something to get used to or will it always be present?
2nd, speedlimit... on flat sections if you hit the speed limit, you basically are smacked in your legs with a concrete bike. probably need to re-adjusting from my side to stay on the speedlimit instead of over it on flat sections?

My eMTB is at least as nimble on super tight switchbacks and technical rock gardens. Maybe the problem is your bike.

I regularly pedal my eMTB well over the assist limit, even on modest uphills. It's not always easy, but being fast rarely is. Maybe the problem is your legs.

Well you DID say you've been off the bike for four years. So much has changed in that time that your new bike might be better than your old one in every possible way.
