Thank youI'm using Specialized magnet on Shimano: Specialized Turbo Speed Sensor Magnet, Silver | Bikeinn
Probably works fine with Bosch too.
Can you show some pic of that black magic stuff ?Hope that works out for you, let us know. For anyone else with a similar problem to me, I tried the Shimano Lockring with Magnet EW-SS302, for my Cannondale Moterra SL with an EP801, didn't work at all, threw an error so sensor wasn't picking up the magnet whatsoever.
My mechanic ended up just stuffing the 6 bolt magnet in and still using the centre lock wheel and rotor and it works fine. Maybe one of these Bosch or specialised ones could have worked too.

Nice work, glad it worked out for you! After all, it's very easy
centerlock - 6 bolt adapter - don't use the shim/ spacer, use the magnet and some same thickness washer on the other bolts
and that's it
Just get a hub adapter to change centrelick to 6 bolt and use your current magnet.Hi,
the rear wheel on my trek rail is good for the trash can,
have a dtswiss ex1700, but it's centerlock, my magnet is for 6 bolt, is there any hack to install this magnet or must go search a centerlock sensor
