Speed limits per country?

Does anyone know what the ebike speed limits are per country? I’m struggling to get info

Eg. UK, US, Russia, NZ, Canada, France, Bulgaria etc etc

I dont think there is a limit in NZ, just bike limits, most emtb are 32kph, but Giant,Trek,Haibike,specialized all have 45kph commuter bikes that are legal here.

True, I assumed OP was referring to proper emtb's max assistance limits.

All the newer stuff seems to be 32kph now, mates bosch gen 4 on his Rail is 32kph.

My powerfly lt9 2019 was advertised as 32kph but only did 28ish, took quite alot of grief to get it sorted. They have to swap motor out to get speed corrected. Pretty crazy really that they can't correct with software. Sorted now.

In terms of law, it will depend on country / local rules. You could use a well known search engine to find out what the local laws / bylaws are in your local.
