After deciding and looking and overthinking too much I want a kenevo, but my shop only has an expert in stock. Ideally was looking for the lesser cost comp model and maybe upgrade in the future if and when.

Question being if/ when they do come back in stock or if I buy it online, does the warranty apply to the main dealers too?

I really do want to get it from my LBS as they do repairs in house, and I know of people having motors replaced and other repairs while they wait, and there a great shop, but they have advised it may be 6 weeks or more before i can even order one

In absence of a physical dealer, warranty can be granted from any vendor of the brand...at least here in Italy. The difference being that vendor may want to get paid for the manwork, since you didn't buy from him. But he can't refuse to assist.

Buy it from the dealer - IMO if buying a specialised I would only buy it form a dealer who would have your back, or alternatively make sure your dealer will help you if you have an issue and buying from somewhere else.

I kind of wanted to get it local who are a dealer and have pretty good feedback- if I have issues I know there only 20 mins away

Yeah they said its gonna be a minimum of 6 weeks before I can order one in- so realistically thats 10 weeks+

Seeing as I have more time than I thought before getting it its allowing me to save a little more and get the expert :)

Now when I asked the shop about 2021 models (mostly released in august) they said it was highly unlikely there would be a new model or any upgrades- but they were expecting maybe the eu colour schemes. You mentioning it has brought it back to me.

2021 are no changes as far as I know. Or very minor spec difference.

Covid is a good excuse to keep things the same.

My father bought one second hand, because he didnt go to the shop where it was first purchased they charged him £100 labour for a motor replacement, not too bad imho.

It will be free from on at 1 or 6 service centers local to the buyer.

Went to the shop today, asked loads of questions, had pretty much all the answers I wanted from them in regards to in house repairs/warranty work.

They had an s3 kenevo expert in stock. Needless to say deposit has been paid, list of upgrades and other bits as part of the bundle discussed and agreed.

Im collecting it in about 5/6 weeks time :)
