What do you know about the Levo HT, I'm just about to buy a 2019 one as they seem such a deal (£1800)?

Lots of info on EMTB about to more expensive cousin and I often find it confusing as people just refer to it as a Levo. I understand it's old Tec (1.2e motor), but have found you can play about with the assistance max speed etc in the blevo app or using the planet 3 mechanical device on the pauper model. I'm in the flat lands of Norfolk so fancied the idea turning it up just a fraction. I will ride Thetford forest mainly first before I fiddle with it. I'm new to EMTB's and bikes all together, I'm a motorcyclist at heart but wanted to explore deep in the forest where motorcycles are often not allowed.
So I've made this thread to find out Levo HT specific info, thoughts, tips and tricks for the aforementioned model.

please chip in and tell me what you know.

So which is best for a slight increase of speed. The blevo app or planet 3 (or other mechanical devices) . Will either of them void warranty or cause problems ?

I hear the HT comes with a 400wh battery but think is possible to buy the specialized levo 504wh battery and it will fit my machine. Anyone unhappy with the 400wh and done this ?

I have owned my 2020 levo HT for around 4 weeks now, I think it’s not very different to the 2019 model apart from colour. BLEVO seems to work ok ?? I have also just changed the chainwheel to 36t.

Great news thanks. Have you increased the max assistance via blevo as I see you have upped the front chain ring to a 36 tooth. Do you have a link to the front chain ring ?

Would upping the assistance via blevo void warranty? And what mileage you getting out of the 400wh battery , tho in Norfolk we don't have hills so appreciate it could be different. ?

I have only just fitted the chain ring tonight so not had a chance to try yet, it’s a hope 36t 104bcd not steel, but I will try and get hold of a steel praxis one.
The most I have done on the road is 29 miles, had about 20% battery left, the ride was mainly in eco, one or 2 climbs in trail and turbo, but all with high assistance. Still playing about with BLEVO. I think warranty will be ok as I only raised speed to around 20mph which would not be below 2100 wheel size allowed for private land use.

Thanks for replys, I hope the 36 tooth works out for you. Let me know. I've been waiting over 3 weeks for my cycle to work voucher to arrive. Least I've had time to buy all the clothes, locks and bits while I wait. I just want to get out on it and explore !

Finally picked up the new levo HT 2019. Straight out to play in the mud off road.
Love it ! Came with the handlebar remote , 423wh battery and 4amp charger (3 hours) result as Blevo app works so well.

Nice! :) That’s the one I was going to get, luckily for me they sold the last 2019 one that I was going to have, so they upgraded me to the Matt black 2020 model for the same price.......it also helps that the owner of the store is a friend of the family!!

I have the 2019 levo HT I have upgraded the chainring to 36t and swapped out the stock forks for rockshox sektors . Used the lite blu app and it now goes like a rocket, easily reaches 30mph it kicks the arse of my girlfriends trek power fly 5 , I’ve driven 1000’s of miles and had no trouble . I was going to up grade to the latest 2020 model but the spec is still poor and in my view not worth it .
