I’ve ordered a Giant Etrance SX Pro 6700$ us back in July. Told mid August delivery. Nope. Then told mid sept early Oct. week 41-43. Yesterday told week 51. Fall is the best riding weather in Nor California and I’m tired of waiting. I test rode the Levo in Large(I need a med) and it was nice. Specs on the Giant are a step or two above the Levo. Brakes, shocks 34 performance v 36 factory fox. Shifters, etc. Both have had really good reviews. I liked the 2018 Giant I demoed but it was,god awful ugly. Both bike are within 200$ of each other.. resale, will be better on spec I think. Not that that matters. I did enjoy the Yamaha motor and Giant seems to have the cadence thing figured out now. Says 120 on new bikes.
I know this is a very Pro Spec site as it’s 90% Spec then others....my Giant dealer sensed my frustration and I really like the shop. Follow on service is important.
Am I giving up a lot with the different lower specs on the Levo? I could get a Levo today.

Hi tretopflir
I have 2018 SX1 but had ordered lower spec 1.5. Waited 3 months but it didn't arrive. However Giant offered the higher spec bike at same price. Had it within a week. Good deal and very good customer service.

You should ask your dealer what is in stock back at Giant and see if you can get a similar deal on something higher spec that is in stock.

Yam motor is very good, plenty of torque and I like it kicking in quickly which is good when stopped on a tricky gradient.

It is a bit of an ugly duckling compared to some others but it grows on you. I think you might find that some parts (i.e. battery) are much cheaper to replace or have as a spare compared to Specialised.

If your mind is set on Giant, stick with it particularly if your dealer is local and gives good service. Very important to have good support and even better when its local.

Better reason to stick with a GIANT is so that we have another Giant in this Specialised forum. Baa Baa! :p
