Specialized App help regarding HR

Wondering if anyone can shed any light on this issue. Im trying to figure out how to get the specialized app to measure my heart rate and log it in my ride. Currently i have the TCU mastermind linked to my HR monitor via BT and thus displays it on the TCU screen fine, However the specialised app does not record it and i cant for the life of me figure out how to do it. I find it pretty frustrating that none of these apps or smart devices like garmin do everything we need all in one unit. My garmin 1040 doesn't record power and cadence from my bike but does almost everything else. My apple watch records most things however obviously doesn't record my cadence or power, however it does try to estimate it. And the specialised app does it all apart from my heart rate.
Reason for this is once finished it uploads to strava and would really like all the metrics all in one place instead of spread out over multiple apps.
Is there a solution to this issue that anyone knows of?
Big charity ride on the weekend and would like to try and get it all setup for then.

Thanks

What heart rate monitor are you using?

Some HR monitors support multiple blue tooth connections. If that is the case with yours you could connect it to both the TCU and the Mission Control at the same time.

The Garmin should be able get the power and cadence using Ant+. What steps did you take to try to pair it with the bike?

Bump. The Specialized app records the HR data (I can see it in the app post ride), but it won’t upload the HR data to the ride on Strava. The Mission Control app works fine for this. I tried unpairing the bike with the Mission Control app, even deleted to old app.

I am using a garmin chest strap, and the Mastermind TCU shows my HR on the screen during the ride. I am riding a Levo expert.

No HR data from Specialized app to Strava is a bummer. i really don’t need to use my Garmin Edge anymore as the Mastermind will show the data I want while riding.

My solution was to stop using the Specialized app and record the rides using Strava from my AppleWatch. I still wear the chest strap as I like to see my HR during the steep climbs…

So has anyone found a solution to carry the HR data over to Strava yet from the new Specialized app?
