SOLVED: EP800 turns on...and then off

Hi y'all,

My wifes SC Bullit has a sudden problem after it's hibernation: when the motor is turned on, the light will shortly flash green and the display will light up...only to switch off directely after. The motor does not start even when pedalling while trying to turn it on. Battery is fully charged. Any solutions here on the forum?

Battery in the on/off switch might be dead?
Try spinning the crank backwards fast 10+ times with the crank fixed to the chainring. You can use a hex wrench in one of the bolts so the chainring will spin backwards. Or use a cable tie etc.

This way it works sort of like a generator and might give you enough juice to turn the bike on. Then ride it and charge the bike without removing the battery.

The battery in the on/off switch only charges when you ride the bike and when you charge the bike with the battery attached.

Mine to did this once. Then after a few minutes it's was fully functional again. I'm afraid that it will do it on a longer trips.
