I'm used to 710, but my rise was only 20mm so got some nukeproof bars with a 28mm rise, but they're 800 wide. I don't know how you all do it, trails and stuff are ridiculous dodging branches and trees, or is it just me? ?

Forgive me, it's been a while since I rode mountain bikes, but I am presuming you mean raised handlebars? And why would I want these? Is it a comfort thing? And if so, why don't manufacturers put them on?

Sorry for all the questions!

Fix cockpit/body position. For me it helps when going down steep slopes.

I'm 183cm and I have 2020 160 AT in size L with original 20mm rise on the bar. I sometimes feel that driving position is a bit too low for me, and I was thinking of going for 40mm rise. But, I don't have any previous experience on this kind of changes, so I just wanted to ask if there are the any potential down sides, could it make things worse in some places??
