So looking at changing my Kenevo end of summer to a Meta SX race but reliability what’s it like ?

I’m happy with my 2019 Kenevo expert ( and the 1 motor problem was fixed quick by Berkshire turbo ) but I like a change . After seeing horror stories especially with Wiggle Vitus what is service like with Commencal and their after sales warranty fixes ?

That’s one other option I’m considering . The reason I’m looking at a Meta power SX is it’s kitted with great suspension ( brakes iffy but will swap them with Saints on my Kenevo) also it has 630W battery and current pricing is about £5800 for that price the low spec Kenevo comp only comes with a 504W battery and cheaper Bommer forks to get as good spec on a SX I need to spend £7400 on the Kenevo expert .

My current Kenevo has 180 mm travel lyrics and I’ve fitted the 2021 debonair air valve conversion. Rear has a coil 180mm ohlins really great shock With a more progressive spring .

I really like my Meta and have had great customer service from Commencal USA. Cannot comment for other parts of the world. I would prefer a Commencal over a Kenevo even if price was the same.

Just got my 2021 SX and while I have had issues in the first few days of ownership due to shipping Commencal is awesome. Called they yesterday about the broken or scratched parts and they have replacements getting to me by tomorrow for the ones hey have. Getting through on the phone is a bit of a challenge as they are very busy but once through they do take care of you. Too early to tell about any long term support but day one stuff has been good.

Have you considered the Whyte E180RS - IMO its the king of LT EMTB's right now. Spec on both models is top notch for the money too.

Valid point, I found it less "big" feeling that a lot of the other latest long travel bikes, but compared to older bikes a lot of the newer LT enduro emtb's are bigger and heavier - its one of the reasons I have stuck with my original E-Somett.

Used to own kenevo expert 2020, had a three warranty cases before one year anniversary. First two solved within week or two, but last one still waiting solution(10weeks anniversary now).
So not so impressed beeing in team spesh.
Now owning meta power team and hapy with it.
Customer service replying fast and they seems to care about customer. Broke e13 chainring and they will send me new on for free. Thumbs up for Commencal and thumbs down for specialized

If I could've found one that I could've purchased in the states I would've got a Kenevo Expert instead of the Meta. After reading so many of these comments on issues people have had with them I am kind of glad I saved myself $9k. Not that the Meta has been perfect but its been pretty good minus the crank issue initially.

I've just done that exact trade although to a Meta Power 27 SX Signature. It's a fire trucking beast, albeit 10mm shorter in travel although the technology int he suspension and quality makes uo for it. Air shock is awesome too. Kenevo is an awesome bike although, gotta say this is better. Mine is a big $ upgrade although the 3 month pitch to my lovely wife was worth it.

I've had no problem with wiggle, having a motor replaced by a lbs costing £85 which wiggle reimbursed, a shifter imploding and a new seatpost.
All of which I had to send pics or video in the case of seatpost play.
I keep looking at new bikes including the new e sommet but I don't think I'll get a better bike for my money and don't think I could part with her.
I'm looking at Zebs and if I did it'd be 29er but again £900 would it change my riding hat much?
I shoe horned my fox coil shock on and it did feel great making me think ill buy a new trunnion mount coil but again ££££
So I'm back to thinking £1600 for new suspension on the awld girl could be thrown at a new steed.....
Thus the circle begins again....
Am I getting old and sensible?..
