Sigma Rox 12.0 , GPS function has gone into coma - A common issue since 2 weeks

I had to do a total reset,

because yesterday's track had more... than 4500 kilometres and in a straight line across the Atlantic from Strasbourg !!!! ,
and because this morning the Sigma 12.0 Sport wouldn't really start again.

After a couple of hours, all is OK. I am lucky... Jag är glad som en lax !

My Sigma Rox 12.0 is running again well and is accurate.

But now... the new track recorded today bears the date 24 January 2004. ( today we have 09/09/2023 )

And Komoot and Sigma Data Center pushed also back
this new track in the abyss of contemporary history.

There is no place to set the exact date in either the Rox 12.0 Sport or in the Sigma Data Center.

What have I to do ?

It seems to be a new issue with this GPS Sigma Rox 12.0

This serious problem with the Sigma Rox 12.0 was officially acknowledged by Sigma itself today >>>

Sigma wrote today in german : "We are already aware of this error and our development team is working flat out to rectify the problem. I will get back to you as soon as we have a solution to the problem. Please be patient a little longer."

Let's see what this means. Very annoying in any case.

Because I'll be leaving Strasbourg, FR, on Saturday for a 6-week holiday in Sweden,
where I'll be cycling on Gotland and Fårö,
I've had to rush out and buy the... Sigma Rox 12.1 Evo...

And... the routing of the Komoot tracks is perfect,
but if you disobey 2 or 3 times... the Rox 12.1 Evo crashes,
and then it... reboots, and you have to restart the navigation, and all the connections... !!!

Let's see what this means. Very annoying in any case.
